Severstal to supply 300,000 tns of rolled stock to ZTZ

MOSCOW, Dec 17 (PRIME) -- Russian steelmaker Severstal will supply 300,000 tonnes of rolled stock to the Zagorsk Pipe Plant (ZTZ) in 2019 for production of large-diameter pipes, the companies said in a joint statement Monday after signing a relevant agreement.

“Severstal already has experience in metal supplies for ZTZ. Such agreements provide an opportunity to build long-term mutually beneficial partnerships, improve the end-to-end technological chain, solve production and logistics tasks jointly, improve the quality of rolled products and pipes,” Severstal CEO Alexander Shevelev was quoted as saying.

ZTZ focuses on production of large-diameter pipes for the oil and gas industry.
